Psalm 100
1Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
2Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
3Know that the LORD Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
5For the LORD is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.
I realized something yesterday as I read this passage.....This verse has nothing to do with our circumstances! This is not a song of joy for the good times, it is a song of joy for all times!! Regardless of the situation you are in, this should be your response. Apart from all else....regardless everything......we should be praising God!! How awesome is that? How absolutely beautiful!!!!
Thank You Abba for showing me true praise and worship of You!

Last night at VBS during our tribes Synagogue session 'Rabbi' Crawford, our pastor, showed a man due to leprosy had no ears, fingers, or toes, and was blind LEADING worship at his roadside church. I will never forget seeing that video, Pastor Crawford shot during his week long mission trip to the Middle East last year. Your blog's comments, Amy, reiterate that same lesson for me this morning, that no matter what ~ Praise His Holy Name!
Love you much, Pegi
I just found you blog today. I have so enjoyed reading it. Is your Dh in Iraq? Mine was there in 2005 and is due to go back next year. I pray that the Lord watches over your Dh and your family.
Hi Jessica!
Welcome to my blog! Yes, my hubby is in Iraq. We're about 1/3 of the way through the deployment. In 14 years, this is his first deployment, so we've been fortunate.
