redirecting

I was going to title this post "response to struggling" or something like that, but when I clicked on the blog button, it said, "redirecting" and I realized that's what this is! God is redirecting me (again!). :)

from my quiet time journal:
Hebrews 2:13a "And again He says, My trust and assured reliance and confident hope shall be fixed in Him..."
I need to keep my eyes fixed on Him. I am not "stuck in a rut", I am exactly where God needs me to be. My choice is whether or not to glorify Gor right from where I'm standing!! I am not lost, I am right here!! I need not be floundering, but rather flourishing!!

Thank You, Abba, for meeting me here! Thank You for reminding me of who I am IN YOU!! Abba, thank You that I am not lost, but I am saved by Your grace....which is more than enough to bring me great joy in all that I do each and every day. Thank You that in You alone is true life, abundant life! Help me to walk each moment of every day in honor and glory to You alone!!!

And please know that I am praying for you during this time. I read your previous post yesterday, and you have been on my mind most of the day today. I came home to write you and saw this. You are wonderful and prayed for.

Blessings...

Amy, I just today noticed your links on FB. What a wonderful blog, I can tell you are an encouragement to those around you. What a nice surprise to find that you are home schooling your kiddos. Sometimes, we think we are alone in this endeavor. Please accept our thanks to you, your husband, and your kids for the sacrifice of service to our country. We will pray that God will keep him safe as He has been gracious to do so in the past. What a blessing and joy to read of your journey as you trust the One who is the fulfillment of Hope. Blessings to you and your family! ~ Brenda

Hey Brenda, do you homeschool? I love it! We've done it "forever" and I'm hoping we get to go right through HS. Hubby is very supportive of it (which is good for those days I want to throw in the towel!)

Thank you for your kind words about hubby. We've been blessed in that he's only deployed ONCE in 14 years! But is amazing to see how God has shaped and molded him through his military service! :)

Blessings to you and yours!

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
